apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Inspiration: Tine K

8-6-tinek3.jpgCan you be infatuated with a house? Earlier today, while working on this Good Question, we came upon the most inspiring website. The black and white palette, the simplicity, the spareness... seriously, this is our dream home. (Or one of them, anyway.)

OMG!!!!! I think I'm in love. This is gorgeous. I love the black floors. I'd add a few colorful flowers and pillows to pop against the black and white, but otherwise LOVE IT.

the dining size table with a few books and a pair of lamps is a great minimal statement. I'd have probably put ten times the books on it, but I love it being so ridiculously spare for it's size.

(the one against the ochre wall, just out from under the fig tree), in this lovely hotel (well, more of a b&b really)

I knew instantly that it was Danish. If you love that house, you would love so many places here.... Design heaven!

Is that a dog bed next to the white sofa? I dig it.

I really hope this is where we are headed next in interiors - a more eclectic, softer version of the monochrome aesthetic of the 90's. It is just so serene compared to the visual cacophony that is so hot right now. It's grown up without pretense or that heavy dose of "cleverness" that seems all the rage at the moment.
