The beautiful dark walls are what first caught our attention when we saw it on emmas designblogg. The apartment's architectural details are stunning as well. The angled roof, skylights, and the floating staircase create a perfect backdrop for his modern style. The graphic color scheme of black, green, and white is softened with a brown sofa, velvet pillows, and a sphere chandelier in the living room. Jimmy bought the chandelier in a garden shop in Sydney. He loves its texture. It is made of "spaghetti cane" and is designed to let plants grow all over it in your garden. He hung it upside down and put a light inside.

We absolutely love the simplicity in his kitchen as well. Modern white cabinets, with tiled backsplash, are in perfect contrast to the beautiful wooden shelf above the sink. It was made with reclaimed wood from a boat dock at his friends' summer house. He installed lights inside of it and the glass top lets the light come through. What a stunning effect!

This is so rich with color and texture, yet so calming. I love this place.

The white marble (?) stairs and the fireplace with wood storage underneath--heavenly.

God, how unpleasant. What is that glowing wicker boulder doing hanging from the ceiling? Maybe the Swiss should hire some of our out of work stylists.

I love those white curved shelves - anyone recognise where they're from?

That's amazing. His home is somehow spacious yet cozy, clean/calm yet full of busy interesting objects.

The stairs are a concrete structure. Concrete is wonderful material that also my floors are made of and offcourse the shelf along the wall startin under the stairs.

The cuved white shelves were bought from www.room.se about three years ago. Have not seen them anywhere else.
Dont think the can be found anymore. It is mdf. You could have them made.

Thanks for all the positivity.

Ps Swedes live in Sweden. Swiss people live in Switzerland. Check the map. The countries are far away from eachother Ds
