apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Mint Home Decor

For major overhauls or straightforward color consultations, big budgets or low, Mint Home Decor might be what you're looking for if you need some help decorating your home. We like them because each room in their portfolio feels both comfortable and accessible - no showroom-like, "does anyone really live there?" numbers to be found. Instead rooms are simple, pretty and feel lived in, with a nice mix of high and low furniture too...

You can learn more about Mint Home Decor's available services at their website, where you'll also find a portfolio of more projects to peruse - always fun.

This reads like an advertisement.

Guess you have to be really subtle so it doesn't sound like an advertisement, when truly, everything IS an advertisement.

space planning by the blind?

I see individual pieces that I love but there isn't a single room I'd want to live in as-is. Seems like there's a high percentage of precious, occasionally awkward, furniture and accessory placement.

Whoah- did some of you wake up on the wrong side of the San Francisco summer fog? I can understand if people don't like everything- to each her own- but these comments seem a bit harsh to me.

I think MHD's look is fresh and unfussy. I could cozy into any of those rooms, especially the one with the white sofas.

I love the colors and the feel. Great use of textures, lines and space. So refreashing to see such elegant 'Shabby Chic' style coming from San Francisco.

brilliant design~
I am in love with it's sophisticated & timeless look & feel.
Great use of space & each piece of furniture has its own strong personality, but they look well together like family.

Well done!!
