MObi Project by Kevin Fitzsimons

5-2-mobi1.jpgWhine, whine, whine. You already know we have a thing for Airstreams. Seeing Kevin Fitzsimons' MObi Project, the restoration/modernization of a '78 Sovereign Land Yacht, doesn't help. Just a little piece of land, that's all we ask...

I'm in love -
Wish I could have kept my grandfather's 28' 1968 Safari...

Now THAT is an RV I could live in.

Your 70s must have been prettier than mine, cuz this looks (happily) like no 70s flashback I can recall.

I also have a thing for airstreams - I remember long lines of them coming through my home town on their way up to the Alaska Highway. Sometimes they would "camp" in the ice arena's parking lot. Gorgeous things but I confess it is the new International versions that I like best - no fake wood.

very retro 70's. nice and very on point with current "it" design trends but not amazing especially considering all the airstream conversions that are done by non designers.

Gorgeous! And that looks like wood veneer to me, not any plastic.

Nice!
I love the concept too - it must be liberating to live so sparsely.
