North Berkeley Home on Design*Sponge

Ooh, did anyone else drool over the North Berkeley Mid-Century Modern house featured on design*sponge today? If you didn't catch it, check the link (and more pictures) after the jump...

2-2-09 ds house.jpg We love all the natural light streaming into Lisa Wong Jackson's (owner and designer behind Good on Paper Design) home, and the open floor plan seems perfect for entertaining.

Pixel the Boston Terrier is pretty great, as well (check him lounging on the couch - too cute).

i liked it. .love the prints in the house, great use of white, and the lighting! the outside stairway is really cool. can't believe they just moved in four months ago.

sheriB-west elm has a tripod lamp thats almost identical- if not the same one

I love it. Absolutely beautiful. The MCM naysayers here are just tired of this look because it's popular now. They probably hate the Beatles too. There's a reason why they call it classic modern, because it's style is always in season. Good job on this house. Modern, beautiful, and well put together without looking like an ad for one store or another. Great!

I adore Lisa, her husband Nick, their cute little dog, and their gorgeous Cliff May home! She has a style that's so simple, but so artsy and well edited—the kind of comfortable-gallery display look (in her little shelf displays) that would take me days (of possession purging) to achieve, but one that seems to just be part of who she is.
