450 square feet. Daniel P. Simmons III moved into a Greenwich Village studio apartment years ago. He's still there, but the apartment is always evolving. His creative ideas include stacking short bookcases to make a room divider, and surrounding his sleeping loft with frosted Plexiglas.

I am beyond impressed. What a gorgeous, flowing space, and what sheer innovation.

There are certainly some interesting ideas here, but perhaps Daniel should offload a few things. It looks a bit like a storage locker in some shots, albeit a very attractive storage locker!

This apartment was entered in the most recent Smallest Coolest contest: http://tinyurl.com/2x3hc3.

Fun to see so many more photos of the space.

There is definitely a trend as living spaces get smaller, attractive shortage becomes key. Many people have turned tiny studios into mini lofts. Impressive and admirable.
