Victoria's Rearranged Apartment

11-11-victoria.jpgHow does she do it? We're still trying to get our home put together after moving almost a month ago, and Victoria's come up with yet another version of her Pacific Heights apartment.

Why u dissin the rocker!? It's iconic! That so called rocker is a Charles and Ray Eames Rocker.

That rocking chair bothers me too. Looks SO uncomfortable! Iconic or not!

Lots of people have that rocker, granted, but it's an incredible piece of furniture. Not only that, but I guarantee you that in 40 years the reissues being sold today will be worth a fortune. They're being "re-classic'd" in a sense.

And for the record, those fiberglass chairs are SO COMFORTABLE. Those Eameses -- they had it together...

i know it's iconic but i don't understand why.

it's something you'd expect Ruprecht from Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to be forced to sit in

haha. rocker argument aside, i love her use of white in various textures - i think the shiny white finish on her rocker is key to the design - even if you don't want to sit in it.

How does she do it? With the aid of a stylist and the photography crew, apparently.

I thought it was more successful in its last reincarnation actually, stylist or not.

Having just recently scored the blue version of that rocking chair, I can say that I wanted it because it's light-weight, hence easily moved, it requires less floor space than most rockers, and it's beautiful.
