Decoupaged Refrigerator

We recently spotted this refrigerator in a Victorian cottage renovation featured in Country Living. The doors are fitted with black-and-white-stripe painted plywood. Then...

...photos of the family and favorite recipes are decoupaged on the surface, protected with a clear epoxy coating. The home's designer, Kate Swope, treated the 'fridge with this finish to camouflage it in the cottage-style kitchen. See the rest of the house at Country Living.

It's covered with so many pictures and pages that I'm not sure she needed to bother. The rest of the kitchen looks intriguing though.

Some of the pictures could be edited out. The book pages and older pics sort of blend with the decor of the kitchen. I covered a fridge with basket weave contact paper once. It looked pretty cool from a distance. I like the black and white on this one also.

I like it and I like the rest of the kitchen, too. I'm usually a big one for editing, but I don't feel this space is really overdone.
