I was just in that kitchen in Sintra on Sunday morning! They have a large almost walk in warming oven on one wall and something like two huge 12 foot long roasting spits in the center of the kitchen. You can kind of see the feet to one of the Spit A frames in the lower corner picture of the antique copper pots.
