But ouch, $375!

I really love the gingko lamp but, at $375, yikes... I'll pay the same amount to take a metalworking class at The Crucible - make the lamp myself - and - have a new skill for life. I'd love to see someone's hack on lighting options because I need to redo the lighting for the entire house and it's just way too expensive.
