If you're keen on things that no-one else has check out architect/industrial designer Jorg Kjassen's "Anygo" lights, which he is hand-making to order and selling through his blog.

(We're not certain about this, but our hunch is that "Anygo" is Finnglish for "go anywhere" -- as in indoor, outdoor, etc.)

We'd say Anygo goes anywhere you want a graphic B&W accent and some ambient light, as opposed to functioning task light. That said, we're surmising that the moniker stems from the fact that the lamps are small-scale, lightweight...and waterproof.
