When we spotted this chandelier on the new sitcom Modern Family, we immediately put the tv on pause and began investigating. It turns out to be the Fosarini Caboche Chandelier designed by Patricia Urquiola and Eliana Gerotto. Info on the original Caboche and a budget-friendly version below...
High & Low: Caboche Chandelier
Made of blown glass orbs, the Caboche is available in either transparent or gold and comes in three sizes, currently priced at $676, $1548, and $2915 at All Modern.
For a similar look with a less hefty price tag, Z Gallerie has a look-alike made of acrylic orbs, called the Jupiter Chandelier priced at $399.

actually, the caboche lamp, the real one, is not made of blown glass but metacrylate (plastic) just fancier plastic than plain ol' acrylic..... (it's a weight issue thing).

Oooh! I have lusted over the caboche lamp since I saw it in a restaurant in and East End London venue. Have kept it in my file of "I will someday have that..."
