Champagne and Wine Cork Candles at Watson Kennedy

Candles melting all over wine bottles seems to have been a staple of romance movies of a certain time, but we haven't seen them recently. This throwback amused us, because the candle stuck into the bottle's neck is formed like a cork.

The candles don't come with the bottle; instead, Watson Kennedy touts their use as a way to keep your favorite bottles on display.

seriously? Let's take something that's widely available to people and make it a gimmick, like the cork that used to be there, only now it's wax! And instead of using readily available taper candles, we'll call this a throwback and appeal to people doin' it "old school."
