It seems like modern lamps can fall into one of two categories: bland and featureless, or statement lighting. We loved Lights Up!'s Meridian lamp line for the sweet, delicate patterns on the shades, but for something that blends in without being boring we look to the Devo series of brightly colored lamp bases.
