Dimmers: Let There Be Light, But Not Too Bright

dimmer4-13.jpgEveryone has probably experienced it: A table or floor lamp that's too bright even with a low-watt bulb. It took us an embarrassingly long time to realize that an inexpensive dimmer works wonders. We have dimmers similar to this one from dimmers.net.

 
 

Dimmers.net also sells dimmers that attach directly to the cord. And even the humble dimmer has gone high tech with a wireless remote. We're sure it's practical, but it reminds us of The Clapper, which, for some reason, seems like it should be in our grandparents' house but not in ours.
