I really like this lamp and I almost bought a similar cool, organic lamp by the same designer about 5 or 6 years ago. One thing to bear in mind: Aqua Creations lamps are hyper-expensive!

another solution in search of a problem.
looks like more of a giant nightlight then anything of true task value. though ten of them together would probably make an interesting decorative statement.
i'm more of a form function fan.

It kind of reminds me of some kind of worm/insect larvae.
I agree with healthyhome. This isn't a lamp as much as a doodad that happens to light up. If you enjoy it, and it works on your shelf, that's great.
What's up with the little figure of the man with the gun? The scene reminds me of a "Far Side" cartoon, I guess the essence of which would be to imagine this item was flat to the shelf and then the little dude pointed a gun at it and it got scared, puffed up on reflex and lit up as an instinct of protection. In the cartoon, it was a spider with a bag on his head who startled another spider named Bob.

This lamp is taken from a creature in the Legend of Zelda named Like Like. Neat!

Their "fan lamp" is lovely. However, their website design sucks.

Not really into the shape of it.

KelthaQTpie,
I can Google the site too, but there's no purchasing information. I'm trying to figure out how many zeroes are involved.
