Isamu Noguchi's Akari Table Lamps at Canoe

We have a feeling that Isamu Noguchi's classic lamp designs (ca. 1950) are going to feel modern for a long, long time. Having coveted this blue patterned one ever since we saw it at the MoMA store, we were surprised to find out that the Akari lamp has more than one iteration — purchasable, even.

The Noguchi museum sells most of the Akari line...many of which I've never seen elsewhere. Plus, you're supporting the museum foundation by purchasing directly from them
