Le Klint's Undercover Lighting

Make your own lampshade. Then change your mind and re-make it. Do it a third time, just for kicks, while you wait for the guests to arrive.

This is the whimsical idea behind Danish lighting design house Le Klint's Undercover series, which allows you to change or layer up printed and colored "inner shades" under their simple glass lamp shades in order to reinvent their look.

Sort of like Swatch watches with interchangeable faces (do they even make those anymore?), but for your home.

There's a range of six colors and eight attractive print groups that includes Marimekko's Uniiko flowers in two colorways. We'd like to see the options grow some more for this to truly provide the quick-change fun it promises. But we also need to wait for it this product to come stateside, so there's time.

Info here.
