Look!: Pendant Lamps in Sayulita

Our vacation last month seems like years ago already, but we fondly recall all of the little details of where we stayed in Sayulita, a small surfer town just north of Puerto Vallarta. These pendant lamps were made by drilling sockets deep inside the shells, so the light glowed out of the spiral without the actual bulb showing.

And then there were the punched tin stars, ubiquitous in restaurants and front porches. Not only does the light shine through the pattern punched into the metal, but the stars are set with multicolored marbles. Needless to say we came home with one, and we're still contemplating how to use it.

Thanks!
