Seeing the Prouve EM Table for sale on Craigslist (and Scavenger) earlier this week reminded us of the Prouve Potence Lamp and how fabulous it was here.
If you have about 7 feet to fit the metal rod that extends from a wall-mounted vertical bracket, it'd be a great solution for your Odd Space that doesn't have any floor space. You could use it for multiple functions, like Robyn did when she used it to read in bed as well as to illuminate her living room.
It's a really great piece and I really need something like this in my sewing room over my big cutting table, but at $1150 it's WAAAAAAY too expensive for me. In my world that's the price of a sofa. Dang...where are all the hot Sugar Daddys when you need one?!

ROFL ;-) Duncan, thanks for making me laugh. But seriously, this lamp is so perfect for anyone who sews or uses a big cutting/layout table. But I would want to put some sort of shade on it to focus the light down onto the table and to make it a bit prettier. I can't stand naked bulbs.
