This is a fixture that should take pride of place in a room that's all about relaxing and dreaming. As with the nest atop the Tree Bed we imagine gazing happily up, mesmerized by the delicate patterns of light cast on walls and ceilings, only to drift off for a nap that seems to take place in that tree house we've always wanted.
Roost will set you back $1050, but it's still a mite compared to the $13,500 Tree Bed. Available here.
The shadows it casts on the wall are lovely, but I have to say that the fixture itself looks pretty fugly to me.
Plus, I bet you could get a similar effect by glue-gunning a bunch of dried twigs onto a simple pendant light for a heck of a lot less than $1,050 ...

Leah - thank you for saying the obvious.
Most of the time I wonder what the editors of ATSF are smoking when they post stuff. I wish they'd get a clue and post stuff that's actually nice for a change. But then maybe we should ask if they're being paid by the manufacturer's to post some of this crap. That's about the only thing that could make sense for some of the posts on ATSF. Most of the time I find myself wishing I was local to Chicago as the AT-Chicago editors seem to have much better taste.
