You've probably seen Fethi Atakol's colander as lampshade -- but Little Green did it first. (Her photo in our Flickr account is actually a couple of years old.) Check out the one that's all lit up in the background.

You can find the pendant light kit at IKEA for like 4.99
and if not then a Lowes or Home Depot should have
them. However what they dont have, atleast the ones
I have gone to, are the oversized mirrored bulbs!!!
Where do I find these? :)

Ikea does not sell them on line and it's a 6 hour drive from BFE to the nearest store. None at Home Depot or Lowes or Walmart in my area for the pendant light kit.

Some stores have a pendant light kit, it is usually packaged as a paper lantern though. You wouldn't find them in the electrical and other hardware aisle, but near the lampshades and stuff. It would be by the lamp bases and shades because technically, it's already a lamp, unassembled. Sockets and other kit parts are electrical lamp parts that need to be wired. I hope this is helpful to you. I recall having some trouble at lowes finding what I needed for lamp parts, because they scattered it around the department by some illogical system.
The other end of the pendant wire, if you are hoping to install that to the wiring from your ceiling are different. You can sever the plug, and wire it up (if you know how or get someone who knows how) at the desired height, but kits like I'm speaking of aren't kits. If you know how to wire a lamp, you can also build your own "kit" with a long cord (extension cords of desired length that will reach, with the 'female' end cut off will work) wired to a socket, which will merely be upside-down and not piped through a base like a table lamp. Other lamp parts can hold the socket to the lampshade and make everything hang straight.
