California native Drew Schnierow has been creating the most beautiful lit sculptures out of his Sausalito studio using raw stones like honeycomb onyx, soapstone, or alabaster. Each piece is unique, and each piece is absolutely breathtaking. To take a closer look at Das Art (that's Drew's company), check out the pics, after the jump!
Stone Lights from Das Art
Drew says: My approach to art comes from an intricate knowledge of and involvement with fine art and commercial design. Inspired by a synthesis of the evolving natural landscape and organic design styles, I transform solid unrefined stone into soothing, sensual, translucent sculptures.
Each piece is custom, but prices usually vary between $2,000 and $4,000. However, we were informed that you could easily commission a piece for less.
