
Okay, we love Ilse Crawford's designs, so it's pretty much a given that we would love the Studioilse w08 lamp that she designed for new Swedish lighting brand Wästberg. It's that red arm and red cord (yowza!) that really got us.

It's very good looking but I'm disappointed that it uses 35W halogen. My desk lamp is LED. At full brightness it uses less than 9 watts. Usually it's dimmed to a quarter of that. It's comes in daylight or warm white.

Price may be a bit high---no one is talking yet. At DWR it will probably be around 600 to 1,000 dollars. I sure hope not.
