Sunami Flatlights by Dick Lundgren

Early in the week, Lindsey brought us the Curly LIght. It reminded us of a lamp we have at home that we want to share with you here...

Like the Curly, Flatlights disassemble to flat and provide a soft, diffuse glow when lit. Conceived by Swedish designer Dick Lundgren for Sunami, each fixture bridges the gap from 2D to 3D to become unique, sculptural light fixture fit for versatile use around the house.

The one we have is the Venus and it's perfect on a tabletop. We've found it's a wonderful way to add mood lighting without breaking the vibe with a visible CFL. See more of the complete line of Flatlights right here.

Pretty cool. Where are the wires? How does the electrical work? I wish they made one that looked exactly like a white sandwich paper bag.

Meh on these. Some of them are too simplistic but in that I-can-make-these-without-trying-much way.
