Amy Ruppel's State Animal Series

Amy Ruppel, a Portland based artist, recently released a new series of state animals paintings. We previously posted about her State Birds Series. Quite a few of her paintings have sold already, but there are still some available. Each one of her wax paintings measures 7.25" by 7.25". If you missed the one of your state or one of your favorites, she also has prints available at much more affordable prices.

You can check out all the paintings that are still available on her website. She also ships world wide.

Bahahaha! I love how she made Michael Jackson the State Pop Legend for Indiana since they don't have an animal. Win.
She is one talented lady.

Very cool. And who knew so many states have White Tailed Deer as their animal? Further proof they are ridiculously invasive! :)
