Etsy Find: Porcelain From Clayswan

We adore colorful porcelain in the kitchen. A table set with multicolor dinnerware can become a feast on its own. Lyn Swan of Clayswan porcelain describes her products as "whimsical... playful... happy..." Her fiesta ware inspired products come in a multitude of colors, shapes, and textures.

Clayswan porcelain is hand built and has some really playful features. We like the double handles on some of the cups and uneven corners on the porcelain trays. The colors go great together and you could easily mix and match most of her pieces.

We learned about Clayswan's Etsy shop on Shelterrific.
Check it out for more wonderful products.

I'm not much of a fan of the "folksy" typography, but I love the other pieces, and the colors and textured patterns are amazing!

Very playful and whimsical! I like the wonky, handcrafted aesthetic of her pieces.

On the odd chance that the real Fiesta Ware mfgrs take exception, I want to point out that in the etsy description, she says "welcome to my shop of fiesta ware inspired .... whimsical .... playful .... happy .... pots." To me, it sounds like she's calling her work "inspired" by fiesta ware...not that she's calling her work "fiesta ware." Sure, it could use a hyphen somewhere, but I wouldn't want her to get in any trouble. : )
