Look!: Abbey's Funky Collection

6-18-collection.jpgHow hysterical is this? Abbey collects... bread bag ties. But she's right, anything looks better when you put it under a cloche.

I love it. It reminds me of gigantic half of a Contac Cold Capsule.

I love it. I collected bottle tops for several months for a friend, they were in a big glass vase and they looked pretty awesome too. It's fun how everyday objects en masse can look so awesome...

lol
Now that it's full, I would tell guests, "Whoever correctly guesses how many are in there gets to win them all!"

I think this is a sign of a disturbed mind...what's next? Squeezing the juice from a venetian blind (obscure Carol Burnett reference)?

;)

Better, but still not good.

I like when people do quirky things like collect bread tags of all things, and everyone thinks they're a genius for displaying them en masse, instead of wonder how they came to start not throwing away garbage or why they decided one day to fill up a container and show off their garbage.

How does it even begin? I've never had a reuse for a bread tag in my life that I'd start accumulating them. Bags and jars are easy to begin saving and then over-saving. But not bread tags.
