We never in a million years would have imagined that those regulation plastic and metal clothes hangers could be made into something beautiful, worth prominently displaying. But these have been turned on their heads, so to speak, to make convenient and unique wall hooks.

The perfect addition to any double wide.

The plastic ones - no.
The antique ones - maybe. But it would have to be treated like wall art and not have jewelry, hats or tiny wicker baskets hanging off them.

I don't love the plastic ones, but they're better than wrapping a pair of jeans around a plant pot.

I'm calling bullshit on this. "Beautiful"? "Worth prominently displaying"? You're amazing.

Haha, so true. I'm not sure if it's comedy day on AT or what. I really do hope a few of these "beautiful" suggestions have been jokes. =( Bizarre.

Do you even look at this stuff before you write about it? Seriously. When readers start asking for low-cost decor options, they don't mean trash.

a rare unanimity of response. but I beg to differ.
yes yes yes. of course, one must have a sense of humor.
OK they are plastic. but they look like birds in flight. i like it better than the use of the plastic hangers to make the light fixture.
if you would ever wear it, then why not hang it up. on the wall?

Maybe if your tendencies or hobbies tend towards fashion or sewing, then sure, I can see using something like this (but not the plastic ones). But if the rest of your place is modern or not even remotely DIY then this makes no sense.

Funny that so many other people immediately thought of the 'jeans wrapped around plants' as a parallel to this not-so-lovely suggestion of 'beautiful' wall hangings. Eh, two unfortunate suggestions in as many days, it's a good thing there are so many truly beautiful items and ideas listed to overshadow these choices.
