Look! Dynamically Lit Studio Apartment

Lighting has such an impact on interior design, yet we constantly struggle with it. Overhead lighting tends to be flat and unflattering, yet it can be tricky to strategically place lamps around the room in such a way that all of one's tasks are adequately lit. The resident of this tiny studio apartment in Bucharest apparently doesn't share our bafflement, and has instead created a lighting scheme that changes the feel of the room dramatically as the day's light changes.

This nighttime lighting is soft, but still functional for puttering as the day winds down. Below, the lights step down further still, creating a dramatic, kind of sexy look.

I agree. More details and pictures of the rest of the space. I'm moving to a studio next summer and am looking for inspiration. This was an exceptionally disappointing story. :(

This is an interesting idea for a studio. Just admit that there is no room for a couch and chairs or dining table in such a small space, like admitting there is no room for a display on the iPod shuffle. It frees one up to put in a full sized bedroom set and work space.

there is a sitting area there - you see part of a wicker (?) chair in the second pic, so yes, more pics yould be nice.

I know this article was about lighting, but more photos of the rest of the place would be nice...and not just vignette shots.
