Design hotel luxe meets spa styling? Organic meets slick? Jung from Guam installed high-end hardware and appliances and a pebbled shower floor in his bathroom and sent us the pics. Here's what he has to say about it:
"I have 24 by 24 tiles that covers the floor throughout the house. I'd just recently installed the TOTO shower head, Laboratory and added complete natural river rocks on the floor. Including Kohler sink, and TOTO toilet. I hope you enjoy the pictures."
We are! Thanks Jung.

Hey Jung I'm from Guam, too....awesome craftsmanship, Jung :)
Thanks! I appriciate that! Still working in progress.
Jung, it's very cute and it looks like you put a lot of thought into it. How are the toto products working out? I also want to know how much the marble tile is. The beige is very Lux Americana and I want the more traditional grey and white marble but I have no idea where to find it or if it's really expensive or cheaper than the more popular beige. How are you going to wipe the renegade hairs from the pebbly surface? I like that you tiled throughout the place because when you clean it's one big wipedown with the same cleaning products.
well, the TOTO Products are great! I bought the TOTO Labotory, Shower, and toilet from Korea. I had them shipped which wasn't too expensive. Shower was about $120.00 and Labotory was about $75.00 and Toilet was bit expensive. The Pebbles are individual rocks. It wasn't a Tile, I put installed them one at a time, which took time but will worth it. I bought a bag of 75lb for $40.00 from Korea again. I think I bought 7 or 9 bags and I was able to do TWO bathrooms and had alot left over. I'm sure you can find the pebble rocks from Mainland since there are more resources. I had to choice to order them because there isn't much of hardware store around in Guam that carries the things that I like. For cleaning, I use 409 or tile cleaner once aweek when i have to clean the house. It seems hard and overwhelming but it really isn't. I just love how it feels when i step on those rocks when i shower. Almost feels like foot Massage. If your Interested on TOTO, I think I'll be able to help you out. Thanks for the POST!
Jung, you did a great job on hand-setting the pebbles! Caution, though, on using 409 cleaner on the marble or limestone on those walls...it's too harsh for natural stone. The pebbles can probably take it, but not marble (travertine?) or limestone. Use a natural cleaner such as simple green, or similar. And I hope you sealed everything -- grout and tile alike. It will make it all last much longer. (Formula 409 strips off the sealer, btw, so seal it again even if you did it once already.)
Toto toilets are worth the extra money. I have a G-Max, with sani-gloss finish. It flushes quickly and (uh, you know what I mean...) thoroughly. Looks clean and fresh as a daisy.
toto products are cheaper in Korea? What's the scoop? By what percentage cheaper, Jung? I want the 5k one but of course, i don't have that money. It's really that wonderful, huh?
(wat about the HAIRS?)
Let us know if you do something just for yourself in the kitchen. I have strong ideas about that room but I always see the same old new things.
