We love: The simple shelves, the art (art should be in every room!), the fact that it's clearly a small space -- witness the two burners -- and the way the green tile echoes the green that's outside.
Beautiful! It looks like they have fantastic windows too.

This is a gorgeous kitchen!
I'm moving into an apartment shortly that has counter-to-ceiling windows in the kitchen like this one does. Most of the window panes are milky, not clear. I love the windows, but I live in a very hot climate and I'm not sure how hot the room will get without any sort of shutters or curtains. On the other hand, I certainly can't have curtains since the stove is against the wall with the windows. Any advice?
