The Paulo Autran theatre is operated by the Servico Social do Comercio (SESC) in Sao Paulo. SESC is a private institution funded jointly by a mandatory tax on Brazillian businesses and nominal membership fee. SESC administers an awesome amount of artistic, cultural, health, social and environmental programs in every state in Brazil, possibly even one that produced this bench.
