Not only is the entire building clad in a copper sheeting that's either perforated or stamped with circles of various sizes (you can see this in the very background of the photo), but the light fixtures in the cafe are lollipops.
We were calmly chowing down on $10 sandwiches the other day when we looked up and noticed these, and suddenly lunch didn't seem like such a rip-off. The entire cafe ceiling is bedecked with these lamps, giving the ceiling a candy glow that looks mighty tasty.

Very cool. They look like giant Chupa-Chups. http://www.chupachupsgroup.com/
OMG! My bosses brother-in-law MADE those! Aren't they gorgeous!? We have one in our office Hollywood, but it's a table lamp instead of a hanging lamp. We call it our green M&M. Wow, thanks for featuring Danny's lights!
Whoa, Megan! Contact info, please. These are ridiculously cool; and would love to see if I can afford a pendant lamp for the bedroom...
During my apartment hunting trip, my mom and I went to the museum and saw those - they are very awesome!
i want to be in this room!
Thank you !!! It took a lot of food for thought from everyone involved to create....thanks Megan!

C'mon, you have to admit those are great sandwiches as far as your average museum goes.
I love those lights and the sense of out-doorness in the cafe. Will definitely go back to the deYoung again and again...and not just for the turkey club.
I didn't realize people would respond to my post...but for those that are interested, this is Danny's e-mail address: dmpreilly(at)sbcglobal(dot)net .
Danny, I hope you don't mind me passing it along! :-)
