AT:SF reader Heather emailed us, after seeing yesterday's SF Good Questions: Affordable Railings for My Loft and Stairs? She says, My friends Mella and Nicole live in a loft in Oakland and its staircase has a railing constructed out of pipes and plumbing fittings. It looks awesome.
