Created by artists Colette Crutcher and Aileen Barr, the stairs are a gorgeous, flowing mix of ocean, land and sky. Larger, intricate tiles of fish and other creatures are interspersed throughout the work, bearing names of volunteers and supporters of the neighborhood project. We could see someone doing this on a smaller scale in a garden or front entrance with regular mosaic pieces - could be a fun project!

completely and utterly lovely; one caveat, though, I know that I'd get dizzy walking up them....

I love these stairs. My husband showed them to me, but we started at the top/going down. Of course, I was being all sassy "whats so great about these stairs?" Then, at bottom, looked up: "woah! pretty great"

This reminds me of my beloved Park Guell in Barcelona: http://www.barcelona-tourist-guide.com/en/gaudi/park-guell.html
Antonio Gaudi loved to cover everything in colorful tiles!
