Look!: Our String of Pearls

Remember back when we showed off Jeana's great wall planter? We loved it so much that we had to run to our local IKEA so that we could recreate our very own...

We snatched up an ASKER container from the kitchen section of IKEA and stuck in our "string of pearls"....et, voila!

i have a string of pearls plant too, but in that hanging planter from ikea (the rust-red one) from this summer. it seems to like sun a lot, and there were two little feathery looking flowers that bloomed a month or two ago. the hanging pot doesn't have drainage either, so i put some styrofoam pieces in the bottom to maybe give the water somewhere to go.

also, i have that fruit basket in my kitchen. love it!

thanks guys!

re: drainage...
the pot i used is actually a utensil holder and has a little drainage hole in the bottom. still, i did add a handful of gravel to the bottom when replanting for some extra help...
