We've been fans of The Value of Architecture ever since we saw -- and fell in love with -- this house last year. So we often check the site just so that we can do a little daydreaming.
Today we saw this Palo Alto house and what most caught our attention was the pops of color -- sometimes that's all you need. (Be sure to look at the little colored niches in the photos below the jump -- a great idea for a phone nook).
i've actually walked through this house (and profiled the designer for the sf chronicle) ... it is really a gorgeous space. there are lots of great little design ideas in the townhouse, and i love how open it is (lots of natural light!). everything is really clean, uncluttered and simple -- you can tell that lots of thought went into the renovation.
