Designer Matthew Leverone's Family and Breakfast rooms keep the colors to warm neutrals while creating visual interest with a mix of textures from wood to metal to plush wool. While we're usually champions of bright colors, these rooms felt like a calming palette cleanser and an area in which we'd be happy to kick back for a while.
The San Francisco Decorator Showcase is open now through May 25th, with all proceeds benefiting the financial aid program at San Francisco University High School.

Too symmetrical isn't it? And that painting, although I love over scaled art, it's just the wrong shape isn't it? I'm kind of bored with this room, give me an animal skull, or a pink chainsaw, something that doesn't scream wasp. (Being a wasp I'm allowed to say such things)
