apartment therapy changing the world, one room at a time

Look! Seattle Skyline from the Outside In

Usually the view goes the other way, but this enterprising person decided to turn the tables on that notion. This presumably DIY paper-cut of the Seattle skyline dresses up a uniform apartment window, and provides a bit of privacy on the other side.

It's fun to see a focus on "curb appeal" for the apartment dwellers among us.

That is awesome!!! I've documented tons of examples of graphic "placemaking" like this, and related creative endeavors, on my blog:

I love that this person gave themselves a skyline view [presumably, their view isn't too exciting]. Maybe it's done with contact paper?

An idea with more potential than just this one application! (How about a forest for urbanites? Bamboo? Field of flowers? space station?)
