Spork is one of our favorite little unassuming spots in the Mission. We like that it doesn't take itself too seriously, and love that they embrace the location's past life as a KFC drive-thru. The decor now, we're happy to report, is distinctly unlike that of the Colonel. We were particularly drawn to some nice little touches on the patio...

We also loved the lights surrounding the space and the old record player spinning Pavarotti. All simple touches, but together they create a great atmosphere.

That planter looks like a stock tank. Which I like. Big containers are the way to go, though anything in metal would cook the plants where I'm at.
