Look! Warm Holiday Decor

121908-decor3.jpg There are some homes that when decked out for the holiday season feel so inviting and warm it's like you've already been invited to dinner. Well we'd love to be the guest at this table from AT reader Evita Smith who has worked to transform her home into a winter wonderland without taking things over the top. Click through for more photos of her space...

Evita Smith has been hard at work taking cuttings from her yard and using them in her decor this year. She has repurposed items so as to make as little of consumerist footprint as possible. Check out the rest of her home below!

An antelope becomes a festive holiday stag with some greenery.

Quite the picturesque fire.

Attention was given to small areas to create a fantastic atmosphere around the home.

The simplicity of a single acorn brings new life to a candle holder. Try digging through your ornament collection to see if you can do the same!

Even the guard of the fireplace is decked out in his (or is this rabbit a her?) holiday best.

You're decoration are beautiful. They are even cooler than this easy to make christmas decorations. Although there pretty good one examples, your candle centerpiece is amazing!

she must have li'l porcelain animals in her backyard, too!! Some folks down the road have dog statues in their yard. Sometimes they're looking through the fence and other times they are turned around looking towards the house. A unicorn showed up in their yard the other day.

Thanks for the warm regards everyone on this Winter Solstice.
