Ah yes, we can certainly appreciate impromptu, but correct and recyclable wine storage. Putting one together on the spot would be a great ice-breaker at a party to hold everyone's wine contributions, but then again, an intimate get-together with that amount of wine may not have much ice to break.

...and perhaps some tape to hold it together?

We've seen this before.

Unfortunately, the FedEx graphic isn't cool enough to pull this good idea off.

...But a monster Toblerone could be.

lol @ muirwoods08!
I can't think of ANY box product that would be classy enough for wine bottles. Maybe in a dorm for some Boones Farm $4 a bottle wine.

Toblerone, yes! Perfect ~ and who knew there was a monster Toblerone! I must get one.

The cardboard triangles you get at Ikea to bring stuff home on the roof of your car might work too - not sure of the size.
I have a credenza that has one section I use for wine bottles... if the dimensions line up the logos might not be visible... will investigate. :)

Funny, but I think the Toblerone is genius (though more expensive.) My favorite FedEx hack is to use the plastic sleeves for address inserts as lint removers. Only in cases of extreme lint emergencies, though...

Ok in a pinch...but wouldn't want it for permanent storage.

This would be a good idea for a basement storage system (hidden from view) but the moment you have a water problem...... well you figure out the rest.
