This is growing on the house across the street right now, and it's visible from our living room window.
Sometimes it's a drag to live on this street. There's way too much pedestrian chatter and noise from the buses that rattle up and down all hours of the day and night. It's hard to snag a good parking space more than a few times a week. And folks pee in a corner right near our stoop every now and then. But the wisteria rail makes us happy we live here.
Thank you, neighbor.

I went to college in South Carolina and lived in a grand old turn of the century house nestled among giant oak trees. Every spring the wysteria would bloom all over the property. Just seeing this reminds me of sitting on the front porch swing and taking in the intoxicating aroma. It also reminds me that I paid as much for the entire top floor of that house as I do here to park my car ... hmmm ... maybe I should go back to college.
Barrett - Are you a Gamecock?
Holly
A TIGER BABY!!!!!!
Although I was always envious that all the USC merchandise said "Cocks" on it.
Are you from that part of the world too?
What neighborhood are you in? Western Addition?
SOMA
Nope, that's Cole Valley/Upper Haight. I know: I get my coffee every morning on the corner across the street from that house. Was just remarking on the colors to my boyfriend yesterday morning.
Wow! Just walked by this house on Sunday and commented to my bf "Hey, I saw this on a blog!"
