This largescale piece was painstakingly "written" on the walls with what looked like strips of torn, colored mylar. This weekend's Spring Open House at the Marin Headlands Center for the Arts overflowed with inspiration for the home. Many of the artists were working with everyday building materials, and others had integrated their large, airy studios into the work they shared with the public. Walls, windows, floors, columns... all were re-imagined.
