I'm too OCD to have that many pillows arranged on the couch. Too much work to keep it looking nice for me.

Love the look, but how do you sit on that couch with all those pillows?

Hey, Holly here! I was pretty happy with the stuff at JC Penney -- have never considered it as a source for home stuff (or, uh, anything) before -- but was given a $500 gift card so was excited to try it out. Verdict? Pleasantly surprised.

As for the pillows on the couch, yeah, I know I have a problem. Set up an intervention! As for sitting on it, I just kind of squish into them. It's remarkably comfy.

After all the posts related to the intricate drains, though rather irrelevant to its purpose, I am suspicious. Is AT getting promotional funds from JCPenny's? Admittedly, the house is beautiful, but nothing being touted from The Linden Street line is exceptionally great in design or execution. I don't understand?

I may be turning into one of those conspiracy theorists, but AT lost some credibility in my humble and extraneous opinion. Or perhaps I spent too much time on this site?

Holly, I share your throw pillow addiction. You'll just have to buy some more chairs so you can take some off the couch... Anyway, love your home-- you have our type of stuff, in the type of SF apartment we're currently searching for! Two questions from the house tour (for anyone who can answer): 1) The hot pink KitchenAid mixer. I have, after much consideration, decided I'm in love. I've had no luck finding it online-- any tips? 2) The square red prints from Hanoi in the bedroom. We're going to Vietnam at some point in the next year-- do I have any hope of finding the same ones/something similar? Where??? Thanks!

Marie516 -- Sadly, I think the Kitchenaid mixer is no longer available in that bright hot pink; I got mine three or four years ago, and I can only assume it must have been some special limited-edition color they were running, because I can't seem to find it anywhere now! If it helps, though, I just got mine on Amazon. Maybe they'll bring the color back?

As for the square red prints, I should think you'll have NO problem at all finding some very similar; just look in any of the art/curio shops in Hanoi (of which there are many.) We paid about $1 each for ours (and then bought $5 frames at Michael's six months later when we got back to the States.) Good luck!
