Chalkboard Doors

Besotted by the idea of a chalkboard wall but lacking wallspace?

Consider the doors in your home. You can turn a door into a creative outlet by painting it with chalkboard paint or magnetic chalkboard paint.

(Or, take the lazy route: you can buy a nifty pre-made one from Simpson Door. Available in SF at AMC Doors & Windows and Discount Builders Supply; and in Oakland at Economy Lumber.)

OOH! I've thought about chalkboard painting the back of my apartment door many times.

Hmm....that first pic has me thinking....chalkboard paint AND magnetic paint together....

You can also take the super lazy route.

Peel & stick reusable roll up chalkboards.

They're vinyl-like and basically use static cling. Stick 'em to a wall, fridge, *anywhere* and non-permanent, rental friendly.

Here's chalkboard *fabric* - wouldn't this be awesome for a bulletin board? Write on it, stick pins is it.

And here's 48" wide permanent adhesive chalkboard vinyl sold by the yard.
