We were thrilled to revisit Sue Fisher King this weekend. It's not everyday that we're in the market for flatware in the $950 range. However, if we were... we'd spent it at Sue Fisher King. Opulence! Plenty more information (and photos!) after the jump.
Sue Fisher King set up shop back in 1978. The store is a great reflection of the surrounding neighborhood, and you can tell a lot of the customers are locals (and by locals we mean same zip code). Sophistication and rustic are two words we'd use to describe her store. It's packed to the ceiling with all sorts of interesting items, from bone china to sheet sets.
We absolutely fell in love with this bed. Never mind the $8,500 price tag.
Like most of you, we're also texture and color junkies. The above photo is a great representation of the tone that Sue Fisher King sets. The store is no stranger to warm and rich colors, and the same can be said about the types of materials her products are made out of.
You no longer have an excuse to say why you can't find a placemat you like!
In addition to a jam packed store, Sue Fisher King also has a jam packed website. Although you can't purchase items directly from the site, the inventory listed is vast (with photos!) and the prices are also listed. They ship!
Wow! The flatware is totally gorgeous! What a neat shop!

This place reminds me fondly of Lacis in Oakland, maybe its the old-timey lacey bits... all I know is that if you love this store, you'll get a warm fuzzy feeling from Lacis too. I will definitely go check it out.
