Tell us about your outdoor project and how you enjoy it: Rich's patio is an absolute oasis from the city. Filled with all manner of beautiful, bright flora, this garden is radiant when in full bloom. With lights around the perimeter that come on at night and twinkle among the flowers, this haven is a sweet escape in which to lose track of time and relax.

How did you create it?: While this space existed when Rich moved in, the strategic placement of lights, constant upkeep with the plants and flowers, and the occasional invitation to his friends keeps this outdoor living area looking beautiful. The freeway sign was a nice addition, as well as a "porcelain flower bowl", which is a strange, kitschy addition to this quaint space.
