Look! Up in the AT masthead (ok, it's not here just yet.)
It's a new blog! It's AT: The Media Room! Or...AT: Home Tech! Or...something to that effect! (The name's still a subject of internal debate.)
Yup, it's a new blog on design-wise home tech solutions and ideas - and we're looking for Super Geeks with powers and abilities far beyond those of mere mortals, folks who would enjoy translating the world of home technology for AT readers. It'd be great if you can also change the course of mighty rivers, bend steel with your bare hands, and maintain a separate day job, since we do pay - but not that much.
The deadline for applications is December 1st. Here are all the details on how to let us know you're interested.

"Media Room" doesn't seem to cover all the different tech frontiers that are out there today, such as computer networking, whole-house lighting control, remote monitoring of home events, audio/visual distribution to different rooms, and various automation solutions meant to make one's life easier -- even if they do seem to complicate it somehow!
